The great mud fest of 2011

We've had a yucky spring. The ground is completely thawed, which sounds great. Flowers are blooming, trees are budding.

Normally the back yard gets muddy when the snow melts and after a heavy rain. This spring we have had about two periods where the yard was dry enough for the dog to go out and not come back covered in mud. Wet, muddy dog, yeah, it doesn't get much better than that.

Next 5 days call for either rain or showers. But we will see the 70's several of those days.
