Tera said the baby had hiccups last night. I leaned down and whispered "boo" to her belly. Tera said "we will not traumatize the baby in order to cure hiccups." I shared my vision of a mask that we could keep in the closet. When Peter has the hiccups we could just pop into the closet to make the hiccup monster come out and cure the hiccups.
/ [sigh] I wouldn't really do that.
// The girls don't get hiccups any more. Even when that have them, they deny it. They asked me to cure their hiccups (once each). I ignored them for a bit and then whirled around and shouted "BOO!" right in their faces. It worked, but a little too well. One of them cried, the other didn't, but to this day just asking "do you have the hiccups" will cure either of them.
